How far will an airport go to lure Southwest?
The regional airport in Allentown, Pa., really wants Southwest Airlines to serve the Lehigh Valley area.
So much so that the airport and other local organizations have been showering the Dallas-based carrier with gifts every two weeks since May. Crayola crayons in Southwest colors, boxes of Mike & Ike candies also in Southwest's colors and a case of Yuengling beer are some of the Lehigh Valley products that have been sent to Love Field in gift baskets.
