Lockheed announces Fort Worth job cuts
Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co. will cut 670 jobs in fort Worth by the end of the year as part of an overall 1,500 position reduction in the workforce of the military aircraft division.
Managers began notifying 370 employees in Fort Worth today they are to be laid off by the end of the year.In addition to the layoffs, another 300 Fort Worth employees have accepted voluntary terminations, either through early retirements or resignations and the company will not fill another 300 vacant jobs.
