1.   Beer is served in one liter glasses. Before taking the first sip it‘s very important to lift the glass and say “Prost” and you have to get eye contact with everyone that sit on the table before taking that sip.

2.   The beer tents close at midnight so it’s best to head home well in advance not to get stuck in traffic.

3.    It’s best to attend the festival during the week because it gets very crowded at weekends.

4.    Bring enough cash as you don’t want to be stuck in line for the ATM.

5.    It’s cheaper to attend Oktoberfest on family days which are 21^st and 28^th of November and 4^th of October between noon till 6 pm.
