American tells travel agents they will continue to have access to fares on Sabre
Travel agencies will continue to have access to American Airlines' fares through the Sabre system, the carrier assured its customers this week.
American is currently in a contract dispute with Sabre and its current contract expires on August 31. However, the carrier told travel agencies that its fare content will be available in the Sabre reservation system "either by commercial agreement or court-imposed injunction." Sabre has agreed in court to not take any action before September 6.
