The Boeing 757 is a narrow-body, twin-engine aircraft which can carry 186 and 279 passengers and has a range of 5,700 to 7,200 km. The 757 was designed in the late 1970s to take over from the aging 727. A total of 1,050 units were built between 1982 and 2004, when Boeing ended the production of the airliner. There are still over 900 757’s operating today with Delta being currently the largest operator.
