Lockheed delivers first "production" F-35 to Air Force
The Air Force officially has its first F-35 Lightning II joint strike fighter.
Lockheed announced today that the Air Force signed off on documents taking ownership of the aircraft on Thursday last week at the company's Fort Worth production facility. The jet flew to Edwards Air Force Base on Friday to begin flight testing.
