Boeing 747-8 has some seriously good brakes
Interesting post with video showing an impressive test of the Boeing 747-8 over on Randy's Journal, a blog by Randy Tinseth, vice president, marketing for Boeing Commercial Airplanes in Seattle.
The video shows a 747-8 doing an ultimate rejected takeoff test, stopping on brakes alone (no thrust reversers allowed) after the pilot's make a last-second decision to abort takeoff of the massive airplne.
