Southwest CEO compensation doubled in 2010
Southwest Airlines chief executive Gary Kelly's compensation doubled to $3.3 million in 2010.
According to the Dallas-based carrier's proxy filing made on Friday, Kelly earned a salary of $465,000 and a $930,000 bonus. The bulk of his compensation increase came from $1.8 million in stock awards that the company granted Kelly. In 2009, Kelly earned $1.5 million in executive compensation.
