Jet Fuel Prices and Historical Trends
13. march 2011 16:19 | Commercial Aviationby Joe G.
The aviation industry financial statistics depend heavily on the prices of jet fuel. IATA recently cut estimated profit for airlines for 2011 in almost half due to rising fuel prices. From the graph we can see that jet fuel prices tripled from 2004 to 2008. Fuel priced decreased in 2009 but have been rising again since 2010 and are expect to continue to rise in 2011.
