Storms stomp on air travel in North Texas, U.S.

We've rarely seen a storm take a bite out of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport and Dallas Love Field or, for that matter, the United States, as we've seen Tuesday.

 

Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport: The airport has reopened, but operations are a fraction of the usual. FlightStats.com said that 676 of 893 departures had been cancelled. Among those, American Airlines had cancelled 377 of its 472 planned departures, and American Eagle had cancelled 241 of 274.
