Airlines collected 10 percent more bag and change fees in Q3, BTS says
Airlines are making more money from checked bag and reservation change fees.
According to the latest report from the Bureau of Transportation Statistics, domestic carriers generated $1.49 billion in bag and change fees in the third quarter, up from $1.35 billion in the third quarter of 2009.
