D/FW airport passenger traffic flat for August
The Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport had about the same number of passengers pass through its terminals in August as it did in the same month a year ago.
At Thursday's board meeting, airport staff said the facility served 5,043,299 guests in August, down 0.1 percent. American Airlines, which carries 85.2 percent of the traffic, had 4.29 million passengers in August, also down slightly, about 0.2 percent.
