UAL gets its old stock ticker symbol back
UAL will get its "UAL" stock ticker symbol back when United Airlines wraps up its merger with Continental Airlines, UAL said Monday.
The company was listed for decades as "UAL" on the New York Stock Exchange. However, trading under the UAL symbol ended when UAL filed for bankruptcy in December 2002 and was delisted in April 2003.
