LaHood gives a peek on new pilot rules
In his Fastlane blog this morning, Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood gave a sneak peek of the new pilot fatigue rules that the government is expected to announce at a press conference at noon CDT today.
The proposed rule changes are a result of the Colgan Air crash near Buffalo, N.Y. in February 2009 where investigators determined that pilot fatigue contributed to the crash.
