Pilot shortage hits Air India´s Gulf flights

DUBAI – Air India has cut its services to key Gulf destinations, home to a huge Indian expatriate population, due to pilot shortage, UAE daily Gulf News reported on Sunday.


“Flights to some of the sectors have been curtailed, and not cancelled. It is mainly due to commercial reasons,” the airline’s regional head Abhay Pathak told the daily.
