Airport Check-in: Customs to expand registered traveler program
Expect to see more ads from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, enticing travelers to join its Global Entry.
Global Entry, a so-called trusted traveler program launched in 2008, is designed for international travelers who are considered low terrorism risks. It promises quicker U.S. Customs clearance at kiosks for travelers arriving in the U.S.
