Sabena was formed in 1923 by the Belgium Government using capital and technical experience from Sneta (Syndicat national pour l'étude des transports aériens) which had been active since 1919, stopped operating at that time that Sabena was wormed.

Pan American World Airways

Pan American World Airways was founded in 1927 by former World War I pilot Juan Trippe after he secured Air Mail contract to fly mail between Key West and Havana. The airline went on to operate 226 aircrafts, flew to up to 160 countries in 6 continents and had revenues exceeding $4 billion.

Air Koryo is the state owned flag carrier of North Korea and based in the capital, Pyongyang. The airline´s fleet is all Russian aircrafts with a combination of Antanov, Ilyushin and Tupolev. The airline allegedly has 3 scheduled international destinations and several charter flights.

TAM Airlines is the largest airline in Brazil and dominates the Brazilian market with over 50 percent market share in Brazil. TAM has 137 aircrafts, 24,500 employees and transports over 30 million passengers annually.

Allegiant Air

Allegiant Air is a low-cost airline with its headquarters in Las Vegas and offers both scheduled and charter flights. Allegiant Air´s owner, Allegiant Travel Group is a publicly traded company (valued at around $1 billion) and has 1,300 employees. It was only one of two major U.S. airlines to make a profit in the first quarter of 2008, the other being Southwest Airlines.
